From the Bombays to the Far North
A mere $8 a year gives you the chance
to compete for Northern Districts Appaloosa Club high
point trophies for halter, western, dressage, pony club
and ribbon days plus a special maiden horse trophy for
first year competitors. You also get access to our book
and video library.
Our small club is one of the largest contributors to ApHANZ,
using funds raised from our annual open Dressage competition
held in Auckland. We sponsor the annual Super Horse award
with a lovely trophy rug and are proud to have funded
ApHANZ scholarships and promotional brochures over the
past few years.
An (almost annual) Appaloosa open day sees one of our
members opening their stud to the public for a day with
many Appaloosas of all ages on display, a sausage sizzle
to welcome visitors and plenty of information on the breed
available.
